The Enigmaker project is prototyping a new public domain invention every week until 1st April. The twist - each is fully documented during it's development, except for what they are.
#project0 has now been unveiled, #project1 a washout, #project2 was toast, #project3 was full of holes #project4 was just flashy it's time to start working on #project5
Guess online or through Twitter using @enigmaker #project5
The maker
I'm an inventor of unusual interactive gadgets, working from a mobile lab travelling through the UK, fascinated by chindogu in my hobby work, but I'm focusing on useful inventions for a change, something you might actually buy.
Your guesses
Guesses are not ranked or assessed, just shown in the order they arrive. Think of the brainstorming ground rules. Fun ones off the cuff can be way more interesting than deeply researched ones. However, there will be enough information in the blog and tweets for the serious guesser to identify the invention.
You are not limited to one guess, so if you have a few ideas, throw them all in the pot. It's best to include a single idea per submission though, as it's easier to handle at my end. Dive in to the clues and start guessing
Site Live
The site is now live, though still with some teething troubles, so let me know if anything doesn't work.
I'm fascinated by the guesses which might come in. You can achieve so many things with the same parts list. It doesn't matter if your guess isn't what I'm actually making. I'd still love to hear from you. I fear the guesses will be better than the things I'm actually building, but you be the judge.
Whether you're right or wrong, you won't find out until Saturday at 4.00pm GMT. Then on Monday the whole process starts again with a new invention. Happy Guessing!
